Established in 1903, Houston County is the youngest county in Alabama. It's home to more than 105,000 residents in 13 communities, including the county seat of Dothan. The County is administered by the County Chairman and four commissioners. Other elected officials include the Sheriff, Probate Judge, Revenue Commissioner, and Coroner.
