| Duties: Operates light and heavy-duty trucks and tractors. Operates truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or paving materials to designated site. Performs safety inspection prior to operating equipment and monitors gauges and other equipment while in operation. Performs routine maintenance. May operate specialized equipment, such as bulldozers, asphalt roller, motor patrol, etc., occasionally. May assist in clearing trees, brush, and debris using a variety of tools and equipment. Employees in this job classification will not operate any equipment on a public road that requires a CDL license. |
Qualification: Valid driver's license. Ability to read and write in English, experience in operating trucks or other heavy equipment, preferred. |
