It is the responsibility of the Chief Administrative Officer to carry out the policies and directives of the Commission, and for the development and management of the County's annual operating budget. The Chief Administrative Officer is also responsible for the supervision and management of Department Directors, and for ensuring that all agreements, leases and other contractual obligations of the Commission are properly performed. From time to time, the Board of County Commissioners also directs the Chief Administrative Officer and his staff to undertake and complete special projects and assignments, which do not fall within the established responsibilities of County Departments.
